Special Education

The Hunt Valley PTA is working to create a network of parents, educators, and administrators who will work cooperatively and constructively to meet the needs of all students receiving special education services in the most integrated environment.  We hope to work with our school and parent communities to ensure that all students will learn and be valued members of our school community.

The Hunt Valley PTA works closely with the PTA Special Education Liaison and provides all the tools he/she needs to:

  1. Serve as a link to resources for parents and educators on special education and related community services.
  2. Support the Hunt Valley PTA by offering ideas for accommodations to PTA programs in order to facilitate the inclusion of all students within the Hunt Valley community.

Please feel free to contact our PTA Liaison, Catherine Luby, with any questions or suggestions about how to make our PTA events and resources at Hunt Valley more accessible to you and your family. Catherine can be reached at: [email protected]

* Our Liaison does not give advice on individual issues or attend IEP meetings
