Given school has started virtually this fall, there will be no in-person after school programs taking place at Hunt Valley. However, several of our trusted vendors are offering virtual after school programs! Please see information below.
Please note: All FCPS facilities are currently closed due to COVID. The following businesses are offering programs for elementary age students. Participating in any of the following programs involves an agreement directly between the parent/guardian and the business listed, not the PTA or FCPS.

JST Athletics and Dance is excited to announce that we are now offering live online after school dance enrichment programs for the upcoming Fall season in Fairfax County! We would love the opportunity to work with the students of Hunt Valley Elementary School. Due to COVID-19, we know that holding regular afterschool programs is not an option for most schools, so we’ve created two programs through which students can have fun, get moving, and learn the art of dance from home! They are as follows:
- Family Hip Hop, Pop & Lock for Grades K-2 (This class requires at least one parent/guardian to be present)
- Hip Hop, Pop & Lock for Grades 3-6
These programs are taught live through Zoom, and are customized for the online format. Students would need access to an internet connection and a computer with a webcam or a smartphone with a camera for the duration of the class.
Although the format has changed, our dedication to instilling a life-long love of fitness through dance has not! We provide the perfect balance between fun and learning that allows students to develop skills, coordination, and confidence that will benefit them in all aspects of life. We understand that this kind of program is new territory for most schools, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to me (703-307-6621) if you are interested or have any questions or concerns.
